The NC Braille Literacy Council (NC BLC) is dedicated to promoting the use of Braille as an important and viable literacy medium, assuring access to Braille materials in a timely manner, and increasing the consistent use of Braille among the population of our state who are blind or visually impaired. The Council helps individuals who wish to learn Braille by finding a teacher and/or mentor who will encourage and guide them through the learning process.
